Hoot's Phillies improved their record to 4-0 by beating the Town & Realty 13-12 in a slugfest. Eric Scasny pitch 5 2/3 to earn the victory. Chad Zimborski and Anthony MacCudden had 4 hits and 7 RBIs between them to lead the Phillies. Alex Vertcnik took the mound with 2 outs in the 6th and closed the game for the save. Voltner and Weitholter each had 3 hits for the Braves. Gorman had 2 doubles for the losing Braves.
Leff's Luckytown swept PJ Tigers in the doubleheader.

Allstar got off to a rough start allowing four runs in the first inning. Chris Gagas settled down and Brian Curran pitched well in relief. The offense was lead by Mitch Monroe and Brian Mueller with two hits each.
Brown Deer Supreme Builders: 9 St. Francis A's: 8
Supreme Builders came out of the gate early to take a 5-0 lead after two innings. However, the A's fought back by scoring four runs in the third and tied the game up in the fifth. In the top of the sixth the Builders commited another costly error which allowed St. Francis to tack on three runs to take the lead 8-5. The Builders were down to their final two outs in the bottom of the seventh trailing by two runs. Tommy Rapp started the threat with a very long single that hit the left field fence and rookie Dave Kuczynski followed with a triple to bring Rapp in to score. Jordy Haizel was up next and hit an extremely short pop fly out about 20 feet beyond the infield dirt to left. While the ball was in the air the Builder's coach was in a dilemma. The coach sent Kuczynski regardless and he was called safe at home to bring the game into extra innings. A's Mike Jelacic started the top of the eighth with a double. Shawn Kozey followed with a single to left but Builder's Kuczynski had a perfect throw to get Jelacic out at home to prevent St. Francis to score in the inning. A's pitcher Kozey got a quick two outs in the bottom of the inning. However, Supreme's Sean Carolan singled and stole second to get in run scoring position. Colin Moser secured a victory with a line drive to right for Carolan to score the game winning run. Leading the way for the Builders was Chris Moser (3-5, 2B, rbi, run). Carolan, Colin Moser, and Kuczynski also added two hits a piece for Supreme. The offense for the A's was led by Matt Cook (3-4, 4 rbi, run, int. walk) and Kozey (3-4, 2B, 2 runs). Kevin Swiatczak and Jelacic also had two hits each for St. Francis. Both starting pitchers threw 8 innings with Brendon Dorn getting the win and only allowing 2 earned runs.
Johnny V's/Flannery's: 4 O'Brien's/Milwaukee Harley Davidson: 3
Johnny V's/Flannery\'s beat O'Brien's/Harley Davidson in a nail biter 4-3 in game 1 of a doubleheader. V's 4-run, all after 2 outs, 5th inning proved to be just enough. Lee Klescszynski, Tony Lubarsky had RBi hits while Eric Lubarsky's 2-run homer capped the big inning. O'Brien's came back to close the lead to one with 2 runs in the 6th, highlighted by Joe Vilkoski 2-run homer. V's hung on with Mike Gramarossa getting the complete game win.
Johnny V's/Flannery's: 9 O'Brien's/Milwaukee Harley Davidson: 8
Johnny v's/Flannery's came from behind and beat O\'brien\'s/Milwaukee Harley Davidson 9-8 in game 2 of a doubleheader. O'Brien's untied the score and went up 8-6 in the last inning but V's came back with 3 in the bottom half with Rob Weist 2-run walk-off single. Rob Weist got the win in relief. Eric Lubarsky and Weist had 2 hits each while Weist, Brian Scheller, and Shane Browing each had 2 RBI\'s. Chris Voight and Joe Vilkoski each had 2 hits , while Jim Rinelli and Chris Sanders scored twice for O'Brien's.
Veterans
Leff's Lucky Town Vets: 14 Wisconsin Wholesalers: 2
In a game where the Wholesalers couldn't get their gloves working, Leff's put the ball in play all day and reached base nine times on errors. Bruce Smeby had a strong all around day going 3 of 5, as well as picking up the win on the mound. Jeff Sohns did Whitefish Bay High class of 1988 proud with three hits and an RBI sac fly. Kirk Spano not to be outdone represented for Dominican class of 1988 with two hits and 4 rbi. Jeremy Kroll threw three shut out innings of relief and Bryan Ureda made his season debut on the mound throwing a scoreless ninth.
Club Paragon Aces: 11 Milwaukee Mudhens: 1
Being led by pitcher Travis Rose and his 1 hitter, the Club Paragon Aces defeated the Milwaukee Mudhens. Along with his one hitter, he knocked two hits while driving in two runs as well. Along with him, Tyler Ray collected two hits and the game winning two RBI single.
