Town and Lake Realty Braves: 7  Brew City Indians: 5

The Braves came into this big Double Header looking to rebound from their most embarrassing 2 games that they have had in 3 years. After the 1st inning the Braves were up 2-1. Braves scored one more in the 5th. The Indians mounted a comeback in the top of the 6th scoring 4 runs to take a 5-3 lead. With the bases loaded in the bottom of the 6th, Austin James came to the plate and drew a walk then Chris Teske came up and crushed a bases clearing double to give the Braves the lead back. Paul Mallas came into the game to pitch the 7th and walked the leadoff hitter, then struck out the next 3 guys to end the game. Leading hitter was Chris Teske 3-3, 2 doubles, 1 run, 4 RBI and a BB. Austin James 1-2, 2 runs, 2 walks and a RBI, Adam Graves, 1-2, 2 RBI's, walk. Justin Karpinski pitched well for the Indians. Indians leading hitters were Sean Sturnot 2-4.


Town and Lake Realty Braves: 16  Brew City Indians: 2

Braves went into the 2nd game of the double header looking to keep their winning ways going. They did just that. Braves scored 1 run in the 1st, then their offense just exploded in the 4th scoring 11 runs sending 17 men to the plate, all the scoring was done after 2 outs in the 4th, to take a comanding 12-0 lead. Paul Mallas pitched a very good game shutting down the Indians offense only giving up 4 hits, and striking out 3. Paul also helped his own cause at the plate going 2-3, scoring 1 run, driving in 5 RBI's and 2 doubles. Other leading hitters from the Braves were Nick Voltner 2-5 1 run and 2 RBI's. Mike Dickmann 2-3 3 RBI's, 2 runs. Leading hitter for the Indians were Solomon Jaurez 2-2 and Dave Barth 2-2. The Braves are now looking forward to their next double header against PJ's Tigers. This double header could very well decide who is the regular season American Division Champs.


PJ’s Tigers: 8  Hoot’s Phillies: 6

The Tigers were led by a strong hitting attack which included Kyle Knaust, Adam Karas and Jason Maaske who had 3 hits a piece and Cory McEwen and Scott Rappl who had two hits a piece. On the mound, Kyle Knaust pitched two scoreless innings to pick up the save. The win improved the Tigers record to 9-3 on the season.

National

Johnny V’s/Flannery’s: 4  O’Brien’s/Harley Davidson: 2

Johnny V's/Flannery's edged O'Brien’s/Harley Davidson 4-2. V's 2 run 6th untied the game and proved to be the difference. Ben Krey went 6 innings to get the win with Seve Murphy picking up the save with a scoreless 7th inning. Krey also led V's with 2 hits and an RBI and Rob Weist had 2 hits also. Chris Vogt and and Doug Dollhhopf led O'Brien's with 2 hits.

Brown Deer Supreme Buliders: 13  St. Francis A’s: 12

Supreme Builders had a comfortable lead going into the sixth with the score 12-6. The A's Randell Anderson hit a 2 RBI double to cut the Builder's lead to four runs. In the top of the seventh, the A's battled back scoring on Mike Jelacic's single, and a three run homerun by Matt Cook tied the game 12 apiece. In the bottom of the seventh, Eric Belter got on with a HBP and Sean Carolan followed with a game winning RBI double. For the Builders, Mike Krause (4 runs), and Andrew Belter had two hits each with Eric Belter pitching in with 5 RBI. Furthermore, everyone in their lineup got a hit. The St. Francis A's offense was led by Cook (4-4, 2 2B, HR, 3 runs, 4 RBI) and Anderson (3-4, 2B, 3 RBI). Jelacic, Shawn Kozey, and Paul Kolancheck all had a two hit game for the A's. Chris Shrock got the win pitching a complete game with one ankle.

Veterans

Varsity Club Hornets: 12  Milwaukee Mudhens: 1

BJ Klement earned his 4th victory of the year. Klement was hit on the ankle on a shot off the bat of the first batter of the game, he then proceeded to pitch 5 innings of no hit ball. He struck out 6 only removing himself after the ankle stiffened too much to play. Brian Snortum and Justin Fischer led the Hornet attack with 4 and 3 hits respectively. Snortum, Fischer and Doug Fremut all had multi RBI games.

Varsity Club Hornets: 12  Milwaukee Mudhens: 6

The Hornet bats woke up enough this game, stroking 19 hits and scoring 12 runs. Seven players had multi-hit games. Steve Budny had 4, hits 2 being doubles, 3 RBI's and 3 runs. Pete Panagos had 3 hits and 2 RBI's. Mike Beringer, Kevin Moore, Pete Rechlitz, Rob Williamson and Brian Snortum also had multi-hit games. Doug Fremut pitched a game striking out 8 for his 3rd win of the year.

Leff’s Luckytown Vets: 6   Wisconsin Wholesalers: 2

Leff's won a hard fought game behind strong pitching and fielding. Steve Rappl started on two days rest and pitched two innings allowing one run before stiffening up. Scott Baily then made his first appearance of the year and pitched five innings allowing only one run.

Leff’s Luckytown Vets: 12   Wisconsin Wholesalers: 0

Leff's continued to get strong pitching in game two of a doubleheader, getting the combined shut out from Brian Jaeger and Todd Voit. Leff's inched away on solid hitting up and down the order, scoring 3,1 and 2 the first three innings to take control before adding more late.
