Games of July 25-27

Club Paragon 2 Milwaukee Patriots 0

In a game cut short in the bottom of the 5th by burned out lights, the Phillies beat The Patriots, 2-0. Dave Cherney pitched a great game, getting into trouble a few times, but then would re-group and get himself out of the inning. Joe Vilkoski scored in the first when a wild throw was made to the plate, and Brian "Ichiro" Peters was driven in after hitting an opposite field single himself.

PJ's Tigers 8 Steakout 7

PJ's Tigers had a big come from behind victory against steakout saturday. Andy Monigal came in relief and was lights out for 4 1/3 inn keeping the Tigers in the game. PJ's offensively were lead by the games hero stephen d who went 4-4 with the walk off hit in the bottom of the 7th. Also for tigers steve rappl went 2-3 with 3 runs scored and scott rappl went 3-4 in the Tigers 8 -7 victory moving the tigers to 9-7 on the year.

Town and Lake Realty / Grecos Braves 10 Milwaukee Patriots 6

The Braves got off to a great start with 5 runs in the top of the 1st inning. They never looked back. Nick Voltner did his part on the mound sewing up the win, with help from Justin McGuire (1 IP) and Paul Mallas (2 IP). George James had 2 hits, 1 RBI, 1 Run, and a stolen base. Josh Szuslik scored twice and had 2 SB. Nick Voltner was 3 - 3 with 2 2B, 1B, 2 RBI and 1 run.

Supreme Builders 9 Varsity Club 6

The headline of this game was Supreme's pitchers hitting which went 4-9 including a home run hit by Ryan Diaz. The teams offense built an eight run lead after three innings. However, Varsity Club scored two runs in the fifth and made the game interesting in the final inning. After two runs were scored, Brian Rennicke came in to relieve starter Chris Shrock in the seventh with bases loaded and delivered the final three outs to end the game. Bry Rapp led the Builders offense with 2 doubles and four RBIs. Rennicke, Sean Carolan, Eric Belter, and Jonny Baierl also added 2 hits apiece for Supreme. Varsity Club's offense was led by Mike Beringer and Brian Snortum, both having multi-hit games.

Johnny V's 8 Steakout 5

Johnny V's 10 Leff's / Spancrete 2

Johnny V's beat Leff's 10-2. Mike Gramarossa pitched a complete game without giving up any earned runs while Eric Lubarsky hit his 3rd home run of the year in the 4-run first inning for Johnny V's. Rob Weist and Alex Marchen had 2 hits a piece for V's. Leff's 3rd basemen, Bartosh had 3 hits to lead Leff's.  JOHNNY V'S BECAME THE FIRST TEAM TO CLINCH THEIR DIVISION.
