Mother's Day weekend was a partial washout with doubleheaders on Saturday being rained out.  Players please contact your managers regarding make-ups that will occur Memorial Day weekend.

Brown Deer Supreme Builders 14  St. Francis A's 1
A very solid pitching performance and great hitting gave the Builders a win over the A's. In his first appearance, rookie Brendon Dorn earned the win throwing four solid innings and giving up 3 hits. Ryan Diaz remained sharp by pitching the final three innings allowing 1 hit, no runs, and he had 5 strikeouts. Supreme's hot sticks were led by Sean Carolan (3 for 4 with 4 RBI), Tommy Rapp (2 for 2, 3 BB, 2 Runs, 2 RBI), and Chris Moser (2 for 3, 2 RBI). The Builders will play next Sunday in a highly anticipated divisional double header as they face off against the South Shore All-Stars in a battle of recent back to back league champion teams.

Leff's Lucky Town 15 Town & Lake Realty Braves 3
In the first end of a Mother's Day doubleheader Leff's exploded for 14 runs in the 4th inning to overcome a 3-1 deficit when Braves starting pitcher Paul Mallas tired and reliever Steve Thompson was clearly worn down after tweaking his arm last week. Winning pitcher Mike Schroeder propelled the rally with a bases loaded double clearing the bases to give himself a 7-3 lead. Waiver wire player (passed over by league GMs since February) Matt Huffaker put the exclamation point on the inning with a three run home run. Schroeder went five in the shortened game striking out six to get the win.

All Stars played another tough game Sunday in a 7-2 victory over the Titans. All Stars got a good pitching performance from Tony Landgraf. In a team effort at the plate the All Stars broke open a 3 to 2 game in the 5th inning with 5 runs and held on for the victory.
