Memorial Day Weekend Make-ups

Brew City Indians 2 Greenfield Bulldawgs 1
Joe Oberlander went 3 for 3 in this game along with Chris Behling & Sam Jansen leading the Indian's to their first win of the season. Chris Behling went the distance allowing only 1 run on 4 hits with 6 strike outs. Neither team could muster any offense as Travis Rose kept the Indian's scoreless through 4 2/3 innings. With 2 outs and one on in the 5th, Sam Jansen drove a ball over the right-center field fence giving the Indians a 2-0 lead. A nice redemption after Sam hit a shot that looked like it might have glanced off of the foul pole earlier in the count but was ruled a foul ball. The Bulldawgs did make things interesting in the 7th. After the first 3 runners reached, Chris Behling made some great pitches and only 1 run scored as the Indians held on.
