Johnny V's Kings 7 O'Brien's & Milwaukee Harley Davidson 5
Johnny V's edged O'Brien's with the score 7 to 5 in a well played game. V's Dan Goral's 2-run triple with 2 outs in the top of the 7th put V's ahead for good & Tony Jones RBI double provided an insurance run. Goral also picked up the win by pitching the complete game. Dan scattered 6 hits while striking out 5. Dan Marx had 2 hits & Alex Marchen added a Home Run for V's while Jim Vielbaum had 3 hits for O'Brien's.
Town and Lake Braves 23 Brew City Indians 13
The Braves continued their hot hitting. With the game tied 1 to 1 in the 3rd inning Chris Samz who was 1 for 4 Home Run, 3 Runs, 4 RBI & 2 walks hit a Grand Slam (that cleared the trees in left center & landed on the edge of the golf course by the far trees), Graves came up hit a pop fly that was droped in left then Josh Szuzlik who was 3 for 6 with a Home Run, 3 RBI, 2 Runs, hit a 2 Run Home Run to give the Braves a 8 to 1 lead. The game was tied after the 5th due to some bad managing by the Braves manager (didn't make a pitching change soon enough). The Braves scored 12 runs over the final 2 innings to take the win. Other hitting stand outs for the Braves were Paul Mallas who was 2 for 4 with 5 Runs, 3 walks & 3 RBI (on base 6 out of the 7 times he was at the plate), Austin James was 2 for 5 with a double, triple, 3 Runs, 2 walks & 3 RBI. Preston Wietholer went 1 for 2 with 1 Run, 2 walks, & a Stolen Base. George James went 4 for 5 with 2 Runs, 1 Stolen Base, 1 RBI, & 1 walk. Jeff Mallas went 2 for 2 with 1 Run. The Indians put up a good fight, but the Braves good eye at the plate and their bats and good defense were too much for them to handle.

Johnny V's Kings 12 The Steakout Black Soxs 1

PJ's Tigers 9 St. Francis A's 3
The Tigers jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the top of the first after Monigal tripled and scored on a pass ball. In the bottom half of the inning, the A's collected 3 hits and scored 2 runs, to take a 2-1 lead. The tigers would tie the game at 2 in the top of the 2nd, with a two out RBI single by Kevin Tapper, scoring Matt Duranso. The game would remain tied at 2 until the bottom of the 5th when the A's added a run giving them a 3-2 lead. The Tigers would tie the game in the top of the 6 with a sac fly by Jason Maaske, scoring Eric Cluppert, and take the lead for good on a RBI grounder by Matt Duranso, scoring Scott Rappl. But just to be careful and to give themselves some breathing room, the Tigers added 5 7 innings runs. It started with an RBI single by Scott Rappl, scoring Andy Monigal, and cultivated with a grand slam, that Jason "the King of EGO's" Maaske, will be talking about at the local pubs and bath houses for years to come. Maaske who guaranteed before the game that he would hit a home run (word on the streets is that is something he does before every game) made good on his promise by sending a ball that cleared the fence at Rainbow Park by a fraction of a centimeter, scoring Cluppert, Scott Rappl, & Cory McEwen. But as in any game, a well balanced attack at the plate, must be countered with good pitching and good defense. The Tigers had both Saturday night. Andy Monigal started the game & pitched 4 strong innings & Ricky Peese followed with 3 hard fought innings, to earn his second win of the season, giving him a 2-0 record.
Club Paragon Phillies 9 Southshore All-Stars 8
Ryan Roufus had another incredible start, striking out five, only allowing one run, and getting his first win of the season. The offensive barrage was led by Trevor Burg, who hit a solo shot to left field in the 4th inning. AJ Krzyzowski continued his offensive domination by collecting three hits himself, scoring twice, and knocking in three RBI. Southshore's Monroe hit a 3 run home run late to rally late.
