The Steakout Black Sox 4 PJ's Tigers 2 (8 innings)
The Black Sox picked up a key victory versus the defending champion Tigers, Saturday night at Zirkel field. PJ's led 2 to 0 going into the top of 6 when The Steakout scored 2 to tie things up. PJ's threatened in the bottom of the 7th putting the winning run on 3rd with 1 out. The Steakout intentionally walked 2 batters to load the bases and create a force out at every base. That move paid off as the next batter grounded into a 4-6-3 double play to end the threat. The Steakout plated 2 in the top of 8, then closed things out in the bottom of 8 for the 4-2 victory. Jon Stronstad pitched a great complete game holding the potent Tiger's offense to 2 earned runs through 8 innings.  Kyle Knaust took the tough loss working all 8 innings for PJ's Tigers while only giving up 3 earned runs. Leading the way hitting for PJ's Tigers was Jason Maaske going 1 for 3 with 1 RBI & Cory McEwen was 1 for 3 with 1 walk.  

Brown Deer Supreme Builders 10 Town & Lake Reality Greco Braves 7
Down four to two heading into the fourth, the Builders scored eight runs in the inning highlighted by Colin Moser's Grand Slam. However, the Builders comfort level changed in the bottom of the seventh. Supreme was holding on the lead ten to five, but the Braves fought back by scoring two runs and loading the bases with two outs. Brendon Dorn managed to strikeout the final batter of the game to hold onto the complete game victory. The Builder's offense was led by Chris Moser (3 for 4, 2 doubles, 2 Runs, RBI), Cale Youngbeck (2 for 3), and Colin Moser (1 for 4, HR, 5 RBI). For the Town & Lake Reality Braves, Josh Szustik (3 for 4), Preston Wiethotter (2 for 3, 3 RBI), & Chris Samz (2 for 3, 2 Runs) led their hitting. 

Town & Lake Realty Braves 8 Club Paragon 3
Club Paragon jumped out to an early 1 to 0 lead in the bottom of the first, but it didn't last long as the Braves found their hitting stroke in Game 2 of a split game double header. In the 2nd inning the Braves sent 9 men to the plate scoring 5 times on 3 hits. The Braves never trailed after that giving newly aquired Andy Klein all the runs he would need to get his first win of the year. Klein pitched a great game getting 9 K's. Klein's day looked like it would be over early after taking a hard shot off his left foot, but he toughed out the pain and pitched a complete game. The win moved the Braves back to .500 after they lost the first game of their double header. Bill Gorman went 3 for 4 with singles and 2 doubles and 1 RBI, Nick Voltner also went 3 for 4, 3 singles, 2 RBI and 1 Run, Preston Wietholter also had a good game at the plate ging 1 for 1 with a (triple) & scoring twice & drawing 3 walks. For the Club Paragon Phillies Troy Schmitt went 2 for 3, Vincent Knox went 2 for 4 SB and 2 Runs scored. 
 
O'Brien's & Milwaukee Harley Davidson Orioles 27 Brew City Indians 3
O'Brien's/Milwaukee HD bats pounded out 24 hits with three homeruns to cruise to victory over the Indians. A 14 run second inning put the game away early as Dan Wilfrath and Dave Pangallo hit back to back HR's and the Orioles batted around twice. Jason Peters added a grand slam later in the game & 8 players finished with 2 or more hits. The usually potent Indians offense had an off day but was highlighted by Mike Tillman who had two of their seven hits including a solo homerun in the second inning. Dan Wilfrath picked up the win pitching five strong innings giving up one run while striking out six.
 
Johnny V's Kings 16 Brew City Indians 12
Johnny V's out slugged the Brew City Indians 16 to 12. Dan Marx lead Johnny V's with 4 hits with Paul Lennart & Eric Lubarsky adding 3 hits a piece. Marx scored 5 times while Eric Lubarsky had 4 RBI's & Lennart, Tony Lubarsky, and Jay Wojocinski each had 3 RBI's. Rob Weist picked up the victory in relief by getting the last 4 outs. Brew City's Anderson & Perez each had 2 hits. Doug Fremut took the loss pitching for the Indians.
 
Johnny V's Kings 7 Leff's Tosa Grads 3
Johnny V's beat Leff's 7 to 3. A 6 run 3rd inning proved to be the difference. Tony Lubarsky's 2-run single and Eric Lubarsky's 3-run home run were the big hits in the inning. Leff's came back in the 7th inning by scoring twice and loaded the bases but Steve Murphy got the last out to pick-up the save. Dan Goral picked up the win by going 6 2/3 innings for Johnny V's. 
  
PJ's Tigers 14 Leff's Tosa Grads 5
PJ's Tigers defeated Leff's Tosa Grads 14 to 5, in a much closer game than the score indictated, Friday night at Zirkel field. Leff's jumped out to an early 2 to 0 lead & carried a 5 to 2 lead into the bottom of the 5th. In the bottom of the 5th, the Tigers scored 2 quick runs and added two more, on a two out single by Ricky Pease. In the bottom half of inning number 6, the Tigers put runners on second and third, and loaded the bases when Leff's intentionally walked Andy Monigal, for Ricky Pease (the score was still 6 to 5 at this time). With two outs, Pease ripped a shot to the right centerfield gap that got above the lights and dropped ten feet behind both outfielders who looked up but couldn't find the ball again.  Ricky did his "Kelly Lee from bad news bears impersonation" which entailed him rounding third with full speed and doing an ESPN highlight slide into homeplate for an inside the park grand slam. The grandslam gave the Tigers a 10-5 lead, to which they never looked back. On the mound, the Tigers were led by Andy Monigal, who earned the win with a "gutty" complete game performance. At the plate, Ricky Pease led the way with a 2 for 3 day, which included 6 RBI, Matt Duranso added with a 3 for 4 day, with 3 runs scored & 2 RBI, Jason Maaske stayed hot going 3 for 5 with two doubles and 2 runs scored, Kyle Knaust put together a 2 for 3 perfomance, which included 2 runs scored, Steve Rappl collected a hit, a walk, and reached base all 4 times & scored all 4 times, Victor Helin had a 2 RBI double, & Cory McEwen was 1 for 4 with 2 Runs scored & a walk. The win gave the tigers a 9-3 recored on the season.

At Zirkel Field the winning pitcher for Varsity Club was Travis Rose.

At Harden Park Damon Dolata was the winning pitcher for Varsity Club. Leading the way hitting for O'Briens was Tim Heling who hit a home run. Leading the way hitting for Varsity Club was Justin Fisher who was 3 for 3 with 1 double.

Tony Landgraf pitched another solid game giving up three runs with 11 K's. The Landgraf brothers, Tony & Mike lead the offense both were 2 for 4 with each hitting a Home Run.

The winning pitcher was Chris Gagas for All-Star. All-Star out lasted Jimmy B's in a hard played game.
 
St. Francis A's 14 Milwaukee Titans 11
The St. Francis A’s won game 1 of a double header Saturday night at Harden Field 14 to 11. The win gave the A’s a 5-7 record with 2 games remaining giving them a chance to finish .500 in their first season. Shawn Kozey earned the “WIN” giving him a 3-1 record on the hill for the season. Kozey pitched 6 innings striking out 9 while walking 1. The A’s got off to a quick start when Randy Anderson lead off the game with a solo shot to left clearing the 284 foot fence. Several A’s players had multi-hit games. Anderson went 2 for 5, HR, 2 RBI, 2 Runs, Mike Jelacic went 2 for 4, 2 2B, 2 RBI, 2 Runs, 2 SB, Paul Kolancheck went 2 for 3, 2B, RBI, Run, 2 BB, Jordan Lile 2 for 4, 2 Runs, RBI, and Ernie Zuberbuehler, 2B, 2 RBI, Run.
 
Milwaukee Titans 12 St. Francis A's 5
In game 2 the A's struggled finding the strike zone.  A's pitching allowed 12 BB in the ball game.  Jim Burazin started the game taking the loss, throwing 4 innings, 7 Hits, 9 Runs (8 ER), 4 BB, K, and 2 HR.  Ernie Zuberbuehler came in relief to throw the final 3 innings.  Ernie gave up 3 Runs (3 ER), 2 Hits, 8 BB, and 4 K's.  To lead the hitting attack in game 2 were Paul Kolancheck 3 for 4, 2B, RBI, Shawn Kozey 2 for 4, 2B, 2 RBI, Mike Jelacic 1 for 3, 2 Runs, RBI, 2 SB, and Jordan Lile 1 for 3, 2 Runs, BB.
