Brewers Donate To Fields

Brewers pitchers donating $40,000 to assist Milwaukee County Parks Department

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee Brewers Starting Pitcher Jeff Suppan and Reliever Eric Gagne will each contribute $20,000 - a total of $40,000 - to assist the Milwaukee County Parks Department with repairs to baseball fields damaged by summer flooding. Many ball fields in the county party system sustained damage when heavy rains resulted in washed out infields, batters boxes and pitching mounds. The storm of June 8th was particularly destructive, resulting in uneven fields and safety concerns for the children and adults who regularly use these fields.
